In environments like retail or home offices where no space for a PC is available, Embedded Voicemail may be the preferred option to enable an entry level Voicemail service. On the Control unit, Embedded Voicemail can be installed to provide entry-level Voicemail service; with the Small Office Edition the solution requires a Voice Compression Channel for each call that it handles. The maximum number of messages stored is only restricted by Embedded Voicemail cards storage capacity.
