The backlit display and control buttons are extremely helpful when under extreme lighting and weather conditions. Rest assured that this radio meets the rigid JIS7 waterproof specifications. You can connect this radio with devices including an FMB321 flush mount, horn, GPS module, wireless microphone and plotter. There is even an option to install a scrambler board.
